Confidence and self esteem
There is so much richness in what we say - and as a coach, I want to listen to you. I can help make sense of what it all means and help unlock insight with you.
Originally trained as a qualitative researcher, I have been working with people one-on-one and in groups for more than 20 years to help brands understand their consmers.
I am ridiculously curious - and I know what questions to ask to get below the surface to the heart of the matter.
I also like to make it fun whenever possible.
For me, life is all about connection with others. I am thrilled to learn about you and understand where you are coming from, so you can get where you want to go.
I am energized by the prospect of goldmining with you.
I am always seeking out new opportunities to learn and grow to make me a better coach and Goldminer.
My qualitative research practice is Goldmine Qualitative Research, a consultancy I started nearly 20 years ago. I believe firmly that all the gold is already there - it is simply waiting to be discovered. Whether it is insights to help build a global brand or insights to build a more complete you, I deeply enjoy the process of mining for insight and delighting in the discoveries.
I am a certified practitioner of NLP coaching.
In addition, I have trained with therapists and group therapists at the Center for Group Studies in NYC.
I am also a Volunteer Counselor and Support Group leader at The Center for Empowerment and Education in Danbury, CT.
Through my work as a qualitative researcher, I have interviewed thousands of people, providing an empathetic environment and an actively listening ear. I have had two decades to study - and be amazed by - all that people are capable of.
My undergraduate degree from Harvard is in Linguistics, putting language at the center of it all. Our brains serve up all the information we need in the things we say.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation to see if there is a fit. I highly recommend meeting a few people to make sure you click with your coach.
Once you decide to work with me, we will meet up for an initial session to talk about you and what you would like to work on. From there, we can formulate a plan. People find different patterns in terms of how often they like to meet. I am flexible in crafting a plan that works for you.
I also offer group coaching where you have the opportunity to work on your goals with a group of people in a simliar time of life as you. I offer group coaching workshops for teens, young adults, adults, and older adults.
Additionally, I offer group coaching on specific topics, such as divorce. Contact me for more information.
I am based in Connecticut and do most of my coaching appointments online or over the phone.
Each individual session lasts about an hour. Each group coaching session lasts for 90 minutes.
Having a coach gives you space to explore who you really are - and who you would like to be in the future. A good coach can help you see yourself in new ways and give fresh perspective, along with helping you find insight to change behavior. Having a coach can also create a layer of accountability for you (if that's something you are looking for).
Most importantly, a coach is on your side and there entirely for you.
Simply put, NO! A good coach will help you figure things out for yourself. In order to truly step into who you want to be, it must come from you.
There are many ways to answer this question, but simply put, therapy often spends a lot of time looking back into the past to understand things. With coaching, the emphasis is often placed on the here and now, along with how you would like to be moving forward into the FUTURE - and how to get there. One is not "better than" the other - they are simply different.
The sessions are 100% confidential. What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions.
Feel free to reach out to me directly to schedule a free 30-minute consultation. You can email, text, call, chat through the website. I am excited to speak with you and explore the possibilities.
I offer eight-week group coaching workshops where people come together to set goals and work on themselves in a group setting. Each session is 90 minutes long and offered on Zoom.
I believe strongly in the power of group - there is something special about being part of a group when it comes to improving yourself.
You get accountability. You get a cheering section. You get more time.
You get to see and learn things you may never have otherwise encountered in solo coaching.
I offer group coaching workshops segmented by different times of life:
The workshops are not limited to these topics - and ultimately, you will be setting your own goals to achieve.
